Our only spare room is getting to be really, really small. We desperately need to free up some space by either getting additional storage space or selling some of them on free online auctions. The former would make us spend more while the latter would mean potential profit. So ideally I would go for the second one but I have to find time to go through all our stuff, and that is a task I am most dreading! :( I need to come up with a plan soon coz some relatives are staying over for a couple of months. Pressure!

Boo!
I'm still here. I've just been caught up with so much stuff. Now that I have a bit more free time on my hands as that stormy part of my life has finally gone by, I am hoping to blog as frequently as I can.
Anyhoo, just a little head's up. I now have my driver's licence. That exam was such an ordeal. I am just lucky that my examiner was more forgiving! So now I can go around without having to be dependent on hubby for transpo. Truly a liberating experience! :)

Investing thoughts
My mom has always to invest my money in two things -- real estate and jewelry. I have the first one partially done so I guess it's on to the second one. I've never been much of an accessory wearer. I am quite happy with just a good watch, a beautiful ring and a pair of simple (not flashy) earrings. So I am thinking if investing in loose diamonds is good as well, and just keep them in case I find the urge to have something made to my liking. That certainly is one thing worth considering.

Swine Flu and Melbourne
It's just as well that my course in Melbourne did not push through. Reports say it is now Australia's Swine Flu Capital. While I love the city so much, I think I'll have to give it a miss this time. Maybe by October when my relatives are here, the flu craze would have died down and I can bring them there for a wonderful visit. Just thinking about it has got me pretty excited, so I can't wait for the planning to begin! :)

Back to normal
So, we are now in the clear of the little girl's illness. She suffered gastroenteritis last week and thank God, it's resolved now. It was disheartening seeing the poor girl go through all that. For a while there, we thought it was something more serious like a liver problem, but fortunately, it was nothing of that nature.
We made sure we had disposable gloves on so we don't get infected with it as well. I really do hope it wasn't passed down to any of us so we can all go back to living normally.

I need a break!
I have been talking for a while now about settling in to my new schedule. But as fate would have it, a colleague is resigning so there's going to be a big hand-over of cases next week. There's lots of pressure now, especially in getting my licence soon so I can tend to any appointments these cases will require of me in the future.
I know it is too soon to scream "I need a break!" but sometimes really, that's all I want to do to get away from the stress. It could be spending a day alone shopping or playing with the XBox or booking for an appointment at the spa. Maybe I will look into that soon. Don't want to wait for me to go over before I have to do that.

The Jungle Test
You Are Intuitive
You are very sharp and shrewd. You can see the best and worst sides of people. Right now, you are seeking peace and tranquility in your life. You are drawn to people who are passionate and deep. You feel like there is nothing in your life that needs to be changed. You make a lot of course corrections in your life. Your first reaction is usually not your final verdict.
