Ladies Day Out

I met up with a few lady friends of mine in the city today for some lunch and coffee. It's been a while since we've had a get-together like this so it was a delight when we finally had the chance. Lunch was at a cafe that one of my friends recommended. I've never eaten there (just goes to show how rare I get to eat out at such places). But truly the risotto my friend recommended was just yummy. I initially thought how limited their menu was, but that was only before having seen their specials written on the huge glass tile on the wall. I will definitely take hubby there on one of our food trips.

Mind over matter

I am determined to get back into my exercise regimen. For a while there, I felt so bloated, fat and unhealthy. Must be all those junkfood I ingested in the last few weeks. It's so hard to watch what your eating, let alone exercising on regular basis. I suppose even if I did get us one of those ellipticals, if my mind is not set to losing all that excess kilos, then it is pointless. It certainly is a mind over matter thing.

Disappointed

Well, mostly at myself. Unfortunately, I did not pass the practical exam for driving. I was just shy of three crappy points because I didn't perform enough headchecks during the exam. And yes, I was emotional about it, maybe because lots of things are put on hold because of my not having a full driver's licence at this time. Oh well... Life goes on. I just hope I don't make a repeat of what I did today when I sit for the next exam in June.

Catching Up

Wow, has it been really a month since I posted here? So negligent of me! :(

Well, I apologise for the absence. It really has been a busy month for me, handling work and home life and trying to juggle them in perfect synchronicity. Operative word there is TRYING. It's been a struggle really, as I am not fancying the backlog on chores with me being away for work for three full days. And being down the colds is not helping either so I am absolutely in dire need of a maid! LOL.

Anyway, got to go now. Still need to check out the lowest life insurance policy I can get out there as hubby is insisting I get one for myself now that I can afford it. Better hop right to it.
