Still on parties

Well, the party trains are now over, and I am so relieved. Parties are fun alright, but there's too much going on, it can get to you after a while. And I do feel a bit rundown today, and not so keen to go to another party in the next few weeks.

The last one I attended was a baby shower yesterday, and it was fun being the photographer once again. Lots of gifts were given though I was surprised nobody gave any disposable diapers, like the heaps I received on my shower some two years ago. The couple opted for a pram to which a few of the guests chipped in so I guess that's why we didn't get much individual items. The new parents (as with all) seem pretty excited. Well, they ought to be really positive about it as they are in for a ride! Their lives will never be the same again once that little bub comes out. But it is all worth it.
