Out of place

Don't you just hate it when you are invited to this party and you've got nobody to talk to except for the hosts? Yeah, I have been to a couple of this kind and it ain't no fun at all. All you want to do sometimes is look for the exit sign and disappear. After all, I am sure they will hardly notice. But sometimes you got to stick it out a bit for your friend. Other than that, I don't really see the point in going.
